Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance officially Coming To The PC
A PC edition of the acclaimed Platinum Games project, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, has been announced by series director Hideo Kojima.
Kojima revealed the project during a podcast released on Friday. There was no official word by Konami (a spokesperson was unavailable at the time of going to press) but Platinum Games creative producer Jean Pierre Kellams corroborated the claim via his personal Twitter account:
I am excited to see Rising hit the PC. BTW – direct all please direct PC MGR questions to @konami.

Revengeance, the ninth title in the Metal Gear series, is currently only available on Xbox or PS3. Kojima Productions had initially worked on the project, though progress hadn’t met the standards set by the series’ custodian.
Later, in 2011, the project was offered to Platinum Games. The Osaka based indie studio, having gained a reputation for its work on Bayonetta and Vanquish, decided to redesign the game and revamp its engine.
In CVG’s Metal Gear Rising review, the game was described as “an ultra-slick, suitably epic entry into the Metal Gear mythology, marred by annoying, fixable problems”.
New add-on downloadable content, called Blade Wolf, was released this week on PS3 and Xbox 360.
