Single Player mode confirmed for Tom Clancy’s The Division

Ubisoft has officially confirmed that its Tom Clancy’s The Division will have a single player mode, The game originally announced as Online Multiplayer video game.

According to a new community Q&A by Ubisoft, when asked about jumping between SP to Mp with the same character the said:

Can I jump between “single player mode” and multiplayer mode with the same character?

The game is built around seamless online integration. Going from playing alone, to playing in a group, to playing PvP will all be handled with very little or no interruption.

The Division planned for 2015 release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

There’s no single player mode. They mean there’s no interruption between going solo and grouping. Just like any other MMO.

The quote clearly states PLAYING ALONE that means Single player guy.. Sigh..Console owner right? Haha My PC is about a 1000 times more powerful than a Ps4 or Xbox 1. I build very high powered PC’s for a hobby have been for 30yrs.

My latest rig I built 5 for myself but this one is my fastest, which I’m going to update yet again as everyone knows new components come out every 6months to a couple of years at most. Not showing off but just saying for a game like this my rig is wayoverkill. I may have to even slow it down by just using a single video card etc LOL! Just saying I don’t only game so I don’t have use for a glorified bluray player aka consoles. TOO SLOW NO WAY TO UPGRADE its a fact and how do you think they make console games? LOL If not for PC’s there wouldn’t be consoles which are just little weak PC’s in tiny box anyway. :D

My fastest rig atm that is LOL!
      i7-5960X 3.5
      Dual CF’ed XFX Core Edition R9-295X-8QFA 8GB
Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate Liquid Cooler (use em on all my rigs they work great)
      Corsair DDR3 16 2400MHz DUAL Memory x2 so 64GB total. 4 slots.
Custom built stainless steel and carbon fiber CF cases. My brother is an engineer.
      Corsair AF140 140mm Led case fans x 6.
      Cisco 3000W PSU
Sound blaster X-Fi titanium HD 24-bit 192KHz PCI express x1

For the record I hate MP and MMO’s. Yeah who want’s to play with screaming kids and immature so called adults. This is just a way for a game maker to skimp on AI which is why ARMA 2 and 3 blows this game out of the water. Yes even before this game comes out. ARMA is completely run by AI so its more simulator than game.

This game seems to be all Hype like most of Ubisofts games. You’ll see I bet it won’t be all that. Future Soldier and Blacklist all had the hype but all were let downs. And the Division looks and feels no different it will probably be just another console game that will be forgotten in a few months. Well see…But I have my doubts.

Pardon the rant got a cold and bored as heck.

First of all, if you’re going to ridicule someone for their language skills, make sure your own are up to scratch, even if you mean no offense. Secondly, no it’s not my second language. It’s my third among several more. You might notice that I’ve spelled and used words correctly, which you did not.

Thirdly, no the Ubisoft representative did not say so. He stated that you can play alone if you so wish. The Division is no more a singleplayer game than World of Warcraft. The solo segments are phased. That means that if you enter a phased area alone, you’re not going to encounter another player. This is called playing solo. You can choose to enter this area with one or more players. This is called grouping or playing coop.
If The Division was a singleplayer game, you would not have the option to group. Please look up the differences between playing solo and singleplayer.

Fourthly, yes I do own consoles. And I also own several computers.

Fifthly, nobody cares about your (lack of) consoles. Nor do they care about your computer. Although, if it’s laughing out loud, I’d ask someone with technical know-how with computers to take a look at it. It should not be laughing out loud.

Sixthly, The Division will be out on console and Windows.
